Creating a page in WordPress website is very easy. A Page is not like a Post. Page and post are two different things in WordPress. To create a page follow the steps:
1.Login to WordPress admin panel
2.Click on Pages > Add New
Fill in everything, click on Publish
Now, give a title for your page and write content. Content may be anything with text, image, video, audio etc. You can also set a featured image and use a page template from right side. Look at the screenshot:

Status and Visibility:
Under this section, you will get 3 options called 1) Public 2) Private 3)Password Protected .
- Public: this will be selected by default, if its selected then the page will be public that means everyone can see it.
- Private: This option will set your page as Private. it means only you can see the page, nobody can see it.
- Password Protected: If you want a page to be accessed with a password, then you can choose this option. So, the visitor with the password only can access this page.
Featured Image:
You can use a featured image, click on browse and upload the image if your theme is designed to show the image then it will show on frontend.
Discussion:
Here you select the option Allow Comments , if checked then visitors can comment on this page. Comments has some settings, you can find that in Settings > Discussion menu at bottom.
Page Attributes:
You can use here a page template from the select box, order of the page. The order of the page will allow you to see all pages with the serial you will specify.
The above discussed are the page settings option. There may be more options if the theme has custom fields and metabox. Usually premium themes has custom fields and features.
